How We Make It

Thank you for being our valued customer! We would like to welcome you to tour our facility, unfortunately that isn't currently possible due to covid! So we've decided to create a multi part series where YOU get to watch a sign being built at Interstate SignWays!

In our seventh installment, Tanya Roberts explains our extruded panel signs.

Let's discuss your signage needs

One of the key pieces of equipment we use to provide 3M warranted extruded panel signs includes our extruded panel applicator. Our team of professionals take the in-house punched and chemically treated panels, and run them through the applicators. This is where the reflective sheeting and overlaminates are applied directly to the panels. These extruded panel applicators also use heat to ensure the best application of sheeting adhesion. This investment in the right equipment and processes ensures that the sheeting on your DOT signs, doesn't peel away from the extruded panels.

Our facility has the equipment and expertise to fulfill all signs with painted back requirements. Often times this process requires special application and unique paint color codes that are specific to each project. Powder coating the back of signs creates a bond that resists weathering and provides the most durable and long lasting results.

Our open 30' trailer delivery system, due to our ability to sequence loads, allows customers to concentrate on installing signs instead of locating the next sign to be installed; it simplifies the sign installation process.

Tanya Roberts highlights one of our key piece of equipment; the cut-to-length coil line.

Interstate Signways focuses on creating quality products. Our Aluminum Treatment process insures our encrement panel signs are ready for adhesion of our 3M sheeting. Tanya Roberts describes the process in this short video.

As a 3M certified sign fabricator, Interstate Signways digital printed signs are completed to strict national and regional regulatory standards. Tanya Roberts walks us through the printing process of our reflective and non-reflective signs.
